Magnetic Flux Unit Converter Tutorial

Magnetic flux is a measure of the total magnetic field passing through a given area. It is commonly measured in webers (Wb) or maxwells (Mx).

Units and Conversion
  • Weber (Wb): The base unit of magnetic flux in the International System of Units (SI).
  • MilliWeber (mWb): 1 mWb = 1 × 10^-3 Wb
  • MicroWeber (µWb): 1 µWb = 1 × 10^-6 Wb
  • Maxwell (Mx): 1 Mx = 1 × 10^-8 Wb
Examples

Example 1: Convert 500 mWb to Wb:

500 mWb = 500 × 10^-3 Wb = 0.5 Wb

Example 2: Convert 2 Wb to µWb:

2 Wb = 2 × 10^6 µWb = 2,000,000 µWb
